Venturing into Outback NSW, we take a step back in time as we discover the Ancient history off the Menindee Lakes, Mungo National Park and The Mighty Murray. Join us as we explore and learn about the history of such mesmerising creations.

The Menindee Lakes is a chain of shallow ephemeral freshwater lakes connected to the Darling River to form a storage system. Following thousands of years of aboriginal habitation, the Menindee Lakes and Darling River became a lifeline for early European explorers in one of the world's most arid regions. Major Thomas Mitchell, Charles Sturt and Bourke & Wills all used the lake on expeditions between 1835 and 1860

Mungo National Park - The Land Frozen In Time. Explore one of the world's most significant archaeological sites and see where Mungo Man was discovered in this World Heritage-listed national park with its Blazing Red Earth Landscapes, Mungo Nat Park is unlike anywhere else in Australia you could be forgiven for thinking you’ve arrived on Mars.
