Join us as we enjoy a day on North Stradbroke Island, a large sand island that formed much of the eastern side of Moreton Bay until the late 19th century. Today the island is split into two islands. North & South Islands separated by the Jumpinpin Channel.
While on Stradbroke we will visit Dunwich, Amity Point and Point Lookout just to name a few. This is to be one of the best coastal day trips blending world-class wildlife to pristine beaches and culture.
Stradbroke Island is also one of Australia's premier locations for land-based whale watching. Whales are heading back south to Antarctica and mothers with newborn calves often swim much closer to the shorelines on their way.
