Rostering is managed on the principles of fatigue management, our customers’ expectations and Industrial Relations Regulations and requirements.
Mark Polley - Operations & Fleet Manager
Mark Polley has a long history in the industry starting in the family business as an apprentice diesel fitter then continued as a tradesman and workshop manager. Driving students to school or taking a coach full of tourists on a spectacular journey across the country in safety and comfort is a passion he inherited from his father Duncan Polley, founder of Polleys Coaches; Duncan was one of the early pioneers of coach tours to central Australia, Duncan’s tours were legendary, and Mark also has this sense of adventure in his blood.
Marks a qualified Diesel Fitter has provided a helping hand to many fellow coach companies getting their vehicles back on the road, Qualified Administrator, trained in the implementation of Fatigue Management Strategies, experienced with driving on all types of roads and conditions including licensed for snow driving in NSW, a Trainer and a Certified Approved Person - Heavy Vehicle Modifications.
Louise Polley - Office & Tour Manager
Louise shares this passion of touring with her many years of driving & travelling, she enjoys organising day trips, group & Tour Itineraries.
Louise started driving coaches & trucks while in the Australian Armed Forces (RACT & RAEME) in 1995, has studied as a Mechanic / Diesel Fitter & still to this day enjoys driving heavy vehicles.
She supports and would like to see bus and coach companies coming together to help and support each other and see diversity within the industry. She is also a great advocate for women to make a career within our transport industry and hopes to increase the number of women working in transport.
She is currently working within the Queensland Bus Industry Council as a Long-Distance Tour/ Charter committee member & dedicated representative. She holds many Qualifications, Certifications & Diploma’s including Implementation of Fatigue Management Strategies, Advanced First Aid & CPR, Workplace Health & Safety, Cert IV in Fitness & Personal Trainer plus many others.
